Taking a Break

Well, my second attempt to complete the Artist’s Way has ended pretty much the same way the first one did. It has come to a grinding halt.

And it’s not only the Artist’s Way. Right now I really need to take a break from the blog too, and possibly even my writing.

This is not something I’m doing lightly but life is just getting on top of me right now. Last week I worked a 126 hour week and this week I’m not even sure if I will still have a job by Friday.

Last Sunday I had to have my precious cat put to sleep and I’m still missing him terribly. I will get back to the blog and to my writing eventually, but for now I just need to take a break.

I will be back as soon as I feel up to it.

.

RIP my precious boy

Oh, Karen, this is terrible news…
Don’t worry, heal and put your bits and pieces back together, we’ll be here waiting for you.
    Osu!

Thanks, Fred. It’s been a bit of rough start to 2010 but I’m sure I’ll be back to normal soon. Just making the decision to take a break has helped a lot.
    Osu!

Hi Karen – I hate that you are going through a rough spot and I’m really sorry to hear about your cat. Losing a loved pet is tough…

I hope you get your groove back soon.

      Hi there Sandman,

Thanks for stopping by and for your comment. I’m slowly getting back to to normal now, thanks. I still have another cat who needs my love and attention so that helps.

And I have a grading tomorrow night so that should keep me focussed 🙂

So sorry to hear about your cat. 🙁

    ((hug))

And sorry I haven’t been around in ages. Last year was a sucky horrid year of bad everything and I’m way behind on checking up on blog friends.

      Hi Michelle,

Thanks for your comment. Sorry to hear you had a bad time last year. I had noticed you hadn’t been on your blog for a while.

I hope things are going well with your novel.
